Hey everybody! So, yesterday I was going to post this but like I said in my last post my keyboard went crazy.Whenever I typed a letter it put a v in front of it. It was really weird. Anyway, let's get on to the Father Daughter Dance. Basically, it's just like a normal school dance, but with your dad. So, I'm going to take you guys with me and show you how I got ready for the dance. Hope you like it!
First, of course, I took a shower to wake me up and freshen me up. Here are some of my shower essentials
I usually use Suave Professionals shampoo and conditioner rosemary and mint because, if you didn't know, rosemary keeps lice away so, yeah, I don't want lice. :)
While I'm in the shower, I like to use the Dove sensitive skin body wash. It makes your skin super soft.
And after the shower I like using the Enchanted Forest lotion from Bath and Body Works. It smells sooo good.
Next, I put on some of my make-up. I wanted to go for a really neutral look and I wanted you to basically not be able to see I was wearing any.
For my face, I just put on some Mabeline Dream Matte Powder a tiny bit of CoverGirl pink blush.
For my eyes, I put on some CoverGirl All-In-One black mascara, a little bit of CoverGirl 24 hour brown eyeliner, and I couldn't take a picture of this, but I put on a nude shade of glimmer eyeshadow.
And finally, for my lips, I layered these three things. First I put on some chapstick in that little purple container from Target, then I put on some CoverGirl (I promise I'm not as obsessed with CoverGirl as it seems in this post) pink lip balm, and on the top, I put on a sparkly pink lip gloss also from Target.
And now for my outfit!
We usually end up taking our shoes off so I went with my mom and got a pedicure and my toenails painted. I loved this color and it matched my dress pretty well.
The theme for the dance was Western so I chose this dress because it reminded me of Taylor Swift for some reason and she's a country singer so... yeah I chose this dress. And I put on this jean jacket.
My shoes are some cowgirl boots because of the Western theme.
For my hair it's just a braid back into a half-up half-down do and a natural curl with a cute pint ribbon to cover up the ponytail band.
Finally here is the final product and my dad! You can't really see my make-up but I liked how it looked.
The dance decorations were beautiful but I didn't take any pictures.
I hope you guys liked getting ready with me! See you on Wednesday! Byeee!
